The Newlight Blind Center X'mas Party

On the 19^th of December we had our X'mas party in our music class. The New Light Blind Center is doing a great job for all vision impaired people and a great service. They conduct free music classes and Massage courses for VIPs. I’m learning the guitar and an instrument called “Okarina”. They also teach the Piano and saxophone. 9 vision impaired students received their certificates in this event after completing the Korean massage course.
The event was full of joy and I played “Jingle bells” and “Joy to the world” with my Okarina. It was fun. Inspiring speeches were made by Pastors. About 30 VIPs participated in this event.

Friends Team Event on World Disability Day 2014

Today was a special day for Sanali Wasana. A Vision impaired student in Colombo campus. She launched her first music video today. This event was organized by “Friends Team”. I was really happy to be there. The lyrics of the song was written by Somalatha Herath Manike. She also wrote the lyrics of the song “Ahan inna ahagena inna”, the song that made most of the Sri Lankans to think about disabled people in the society. Mekala Gamage another vision impaired student is the singer of this song.
There were performance by differently able singers and inspiring speeches were made by guests who were presented there.
This is the new song of Sanali Wasana.
